We had dinner at the Restaurant on Friday and Saturday evening. Cannot fault the service, quality and ambience. Overlooking a lake, the setting is perfect. The wine list is magnificent and I can honestly say that I haven't had such a mouthwatering meal in a long time. Don't miss this excellent dining experience.

It was a special occasion dinner and we were visiting from Asia. We had been generally pleased with our Margaret river experience to date but found trip advisor ratings generally above what we would have given and therefore it led to abut of disappointment. Cape lodge restaurant did not disappoint. From setting to service to wine to food all was... More

What better way to top off a great Margaret River wine country experience than a night at Cape Lodge and dinner in their 5 star restaurant degustation style with matched wine! The restaurant was very accommodating and allowed us to substitute dishes - we had the wagyu carpaccio instead of the oyster and my partner swapped the beef for the... More

We have just concluded our first full day here and the stay has been made patchy by the kitchen. So, the setting is lovely, and the apartment by the lake is beautiful, but there it ends - for me at least. We have taken breakfast and dinner. My wife's meals were superb. However, my breakfast poached eggs were so very... More

If you stay in the Margaret River you will kick yourself if you do not make a reservation at this restaurant. Both the degustation menu and a la carte menus were 1st class. I must make special mention of the the Marron dish. Fantastic wine list with expert attentive and engaging staff.

Had a dinner, bed and breakfast booking here for a getaway long weekend - the experience in the restaurant was great. Food was superb, both for dinner and breakfast. Service was generally excellent, and the wine choices superb. The restaurant room itself is a bit of a letdown, the space somehow manages to still look and feel like a hotel... More

We experienced the fine dining at Cape Lodge over our extended stay. We found the style and presentation of the meals to be of a high standard with only minor criticisms of the meal components. We were a little disappointed about the lack of depth in the wine list. Nevertheless there is still room for improvement especially over the minor... More

When you are stuck at cape lodge where else do you go? I guess the captive audience has meant that the prices have got out of control! Don't get me wrong, the food is quality, just think it's completely overpriced for what it is. Go once to see it but I wouldn't go again.
