The staff was rude and ill tempered. After waiting to be seated and waiting quite a long time we had to go to the bar and request a server. We asked about the fish we were ordering and got little response. We did not realize the fish was raw and and would not have ordered had we know. After being... More

Beautiful evening clear blue skies and warm weather provided by the restaurant of course. We sat front and centre in the deck. Steaks and Tuna cooked for 4 people all done to exact request. Was a friendly staff experience and the setting meant our 3 year old could quietly wonder around and entertain herself.

Had dinner one night outside overlooking marina. The setting certainly does make it. The menu and prices give the impression of an establishment trying to be upmarket. We found that the food itself was good. However the service needs standards raising to match this. The waiter we had was young and kept calling my husband mate when we were ordering.... More

It's a lovely site and the staff were attentive and fun, but the food was not up to a reasonable standard and therefore it cost much more than it was worth. The duck salad was lacking in taste and had a miserable amount of dressing. The beef sandwich had gristly meat. And my marinated fish was tiny and had little... More

Stopped in for the second time at this great spot. Food is good but portion sizes for some meals feel like starter portions. My lamb salad had 3 tiny pieces of meat which I thought was a bit light for what I paid. Service is fantastic and views are amazing

We weren't very hungry so just popped in looking for a salad and a glass of wine. Both were amazing, fresh ingredients, great local fare, and a good local wine list. Ended up getting a coffee as well, finished off an excellent fresh clean meal.

We had dinner in this restaurant. On this day it was raining. So we decided to sit inside. Inside there was a strong smell of the kitchen. The food was okay, but nothing special. It was definitive overprized. The worstest was the sevice. The service was really chaotic. We had different people. Everybody runed very nervous around, although the restaurant... More

We were next door for dinner and someone wanted a coffee so we popped into Salt. the guy on the counter was so RUDE! we have never come across something like that. we asked for along black which was great, then we asked for Trim Mocha. He proceeded to laugh at us and say TRIM when look at what goes... More

Couldn't get in first night we tried so booked for the next night. Glad we did - the place was packed once again. Cheese board excellent, but the twice-cooked duck we both had was dry. Disappointing. Herb roasted baby potatoes beautiful.
