Well situated and well presented. Nice bathrooms and good food. Nothing amazing the menu but nice and service was good. Maybe the staff at the till could also pour beer would be a good idea.

My husband and I dined at Al Camino's over Auckland Anniversary Weekend. The restaurant was extremely busy and unfortunately had run out of a number of items on the menu so we didn't get to try the seafood chowder which had been recommended to us. We shared a pizza which was excellent. The service was very good and the wait... More

We felt like pizza tonight, take out. Loved the relaxed atmosphere, the view, the service and variety of quality pizzas on offer, amongst other dishes. Generous toppings of quality ingredients well cooked. We'll be back!!

The Al Camino has a great deck facing the water, just perfect for casual dining after a day of sea and sun. We even sneaked in for a G & T in our beach towels! The menu is varied and cheap and the service is spot on. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely restaurant with top notch food. One night, my husband and I shared the seafood chowder. It was so yummy and glad we shared as it had heaps of seafood. Another night, when we were more hungry, we had a full meal. I had the fresh fish of the day and cooked to perfection with beautiful sides... More

Best pizza that we've had. Every time we go to Whitianga the family want pizza from Al Camino. Love their choice of toppings as well. Spoilt us for every other pizza company.

Located right on the waterfront this should be one of Whitianga best spots. The wait for food was far to long and once it arrived was average to say the least. much better places around for dinner. Wont be going back.

Very nice location, friendly staff but we could have done with much bigger portions. Due to this we would not return in a hurry to this place.

We were after a late lunch and chose to eat here because of the views, good variety of food options and reasonable prices. Tables weren't wiped clean even though there were few diners. We ordered at the counter and were given our drinks, one of which was diet coke on tap that turned out to be unpalatable, but they were... More

Being directly across the road from our motel, the Al Camino was our first port of call. The menu indicated Greek, Italian and traditional "Kiwi" fare - something for everyone. Over waitress was on the ball, and we quickly had drinks, then a meal covering all the food group options, starting with a platter. Good food, great service, not particularly... More
