This is a "must not miss" for brunch/lunch. Simply great food with a changing menu. It is not fine dining but in some ways it is!

If ever a location and outside appearance was no indication whatsoever of what was on the inside, it's this place. Situated on the end of a fairly hum-drum strip mall between Boone and Banner Elk, both food and the ambiance are first class. Fresh bread made every morning on the premises and the best ingredients, creatively put together by a... More

We always look forward to summers in the mountains and lunches at Eat Crow. Everything on the menu is excellent. Please save room for desert ...some of the finest anywhere. Coconut cream pie is my very favorite but everything else is great. Staff is very cheerful and always full of great suggestions. Love this place.

Everything is just delicious - the chef has a resort background and knows his way around the kitchen. All of the sandwiches can be served as salad plates or get it on their homemade bread. Desserts - the best chocolate cake around. They also have frozen food - form beautiful beef pies, chicken pot pies, tons of stuff - I... More

This restaurant is usually not open for dinner, but they have special dinners sometimes, and we attended the fish and chips one. It was great, considering the owner/chef is British!

Great homemade food, kind staff. Our family got a variety of the menu items. Everything was fabulous - this is a place worth stopping for lunch at!

My wife and I visit the area at least twice a year and always search for new local restaurants. We weren't sure of Eat Crow from looking on line but decided to stop in and check the menu. Well we stayed. And my wife ordered crab cakes and I the cold salmon with yellow beets. We were blown away by... More

I discovered this lovely place through friends, and I took friends there myself this week. They have some of the best pie I have ever had in my life, and the food is really good and beautifully presented.

This is not a throw is on the table restaurant so a bit slow but handmade bread and all gourmet, hand prepared food, can't be beat anywhere!

I make a point of having lunch at Eat Crow at least once a week when I'm in town. Absolutely unique entrees -- like the Crab Cake salad -- and they've spoiled me for Carrot Cake any place else. Do not miss. Only problem -- short hours: open at 10 closes at 3.

Thank Pat S
