Great food, the fish and chips and the oysters were perfect. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable and had some great tips on the area

Philly Cheese Steak sandwich was excellent! There was a $5 seafood special on Saturday, featuring clam strips, calamari, tuna, conch fritters, and a couple of other choices. Clam strips were quite good, and French Fries were fresh and just crisp enough. The bartendress makes a mean margarita, as well. Outdoor tables were a plus, and service was friendly.

Can not comment on the food, but a couple of cocktails sitting outside with our dog, was fun. Waitress was super friendly.

This is a local bar filled with sports inspired decor. The specials are good, and they have designated nights for things like karaoke and trivia. We didn't try the food but the prices looked fairly inexpensive.

Had a nice fun dinner with family. Had no issues, orders were correct and food was good. An upbeat atmosphere and friendly employees. Would definitely visit there again.

Good value, food is great. The service and people that work there are really good. The fish menu is the best in the high country.

We've been here a few times. Always pretty tasty and service has always been good. Tonight we tried THE BOONEY SANDWICH (Slow cooked beef brisket smothered in grilled onions, bacon, cheddar and BBQ sauce. Served on a hoagie roll with sliced pickles and bistro sauce.) It was so good! We'll def be back just for that sandwich. Lots of meat,... More

Boone is a college town, and The Town Tavern is a college pub. It's also a neighborhood pub, as was witnessed on our visit there. When we "bellied up to the bar," there was a friendly but rowdy group who were obviously having a good time. Though we were there to eat, we sat at the bar because we heard... More
