This is hands down the worst dining experience you will find in cary. The last time I came here the owner who's name is Johnny cussed out his parents in his own store. But if a hostile environment doesn't really matter to you I know for a fact the restaurant is in health code violation. My brother used to work... More

My husband and I went to San Remo on Sunday--our first visit to try their Sunday brunch. When I read their sign on the door saying that they were closing in August, I thought perhaps we should go somewhere else. But, this restaurant had high reviews here on Trip Advisor and had been open for 15 years--so we opted to... More

This small Italian restaurant cooks every dish to order. The pasta is homemade and they always have interesting specials. We have even been here for special occasions and the food has always been great.

A date night with my spouse included a nice bottle of wine, bruschetta and a delightful meal. I enjoyed Carcofi, a choice of chicken or veal with braised artichokeers in a rosemary white wine butter sauce, served with fried potato croquette. I had the chicken version absolutely yummy. My spouse had the Scallopini Ala Nina, veal in egg butter, sauteed... More

San Remo is quite small but the food is cooked to order and is always fresh and delicious. The service needs improvement. The past is home made and although we have never had the pizza lots of pies are served there.

I've been going to San Remo for years. It's never crowded, mostly because people don't seem to know it's there. The owner/head chef, Johnny, is a second generation restaurant owner, Italian by way of Brooklyn. He makes great pizza, as long as you eat it there--if you take it home it gets a little soggy. All the entrees I've tried... More

We have been going to San Remos for years. We have even done their wine dinners (excellent). I especially like it for lunch. They have the full menu or a buffet. The buffet looks small but the food is truly delicious and a good variety.

Went in around 6:00 on Labor Day and had the place to ourselves. The service was very good and pleasant. The food was very good and nicely presented. It was so quiet, ahh! It's been several years since we have been there but we will go back.

Thank Tom H
