We went here for a group business dinner with a special arrangement, having a room for ourselves. The food was excellent, well prepared with a sense of detail and care. I liked the fusion aspect of it, creative combinations, combined with good taste.

This lady with glasses enjoyed the cocktail "Girl Who Wears Glasses." :) We shared several appetizers and especially liked the pork dumplings. Unfortunately, the salt and pepper shrimp tasted a bit off - perhaps they were not as fresh as they should be. For the main course, we ordered the sticky rice, the crispy whole black bass, and the flat... More

Ate in the dining room: good service, decent well-priced wine list and interesting fusion dishes. All-in-all, a pleasurable experience.

My only regret is waiting so long to come here! My dinner earlier this week was fantastic - black cod with locally sourced mushroooms and black rice. We shared the calamari starter. I'm already plotting a return trip from Raleigh - this place makes the drive well worth it!

I was in Chapel Hill for work and the Lantern was recommended by a bartender in the area. Eating at the bar was strongly recommended over the dinning room. The bar is located in a back room and is fairly dark. Servers were friendly and not over-intrusive. Gave great suggestions on dinner options. Went with the fried calamari salad and... More

Went as part of a large group--beware, small venue, you will need reservations if you are a big group or if you want to be sure to get in. They had a pre-fix menu for us. Appetizers were very good, try the chaat, the salt and pepper shrimp and the spring rolls. The charcuterie plate was not something I'm into--"head... More

I've known about this restaurant for a while now and was delighted to have the opportunity to finally dine there. The atmosphere is modern and spare, but with a comforting vibe and the noise never rises above a low hum. We ordered plates to share and a few main dishes: salt & pepper shrimp, veggie spring rolls, vegan dal (more... More

The atmosphere was great - dimmed lighting, relatively quiet, seems like a good place for a romantic date. For appetizers, our group shared two types of dumplings, salt & pepper shrimp, and korean fried chicken. All of these were amazing and could not have been better. For my entree I had the pork chop which came with (among other things)... More

I was a bit reluctant to believe all the hype @ this place, especially since I am not a huge sushi fan....BU, it was totally terrific. Quite an eclectic mix of locally sourced non-sushi items as well. Incredibly attentive wait staff, great wine selection and a solid value for the upscale price

It's a fancy Asian fusion restaurant. The chef is well known nationally. I've always had good meals. Except about every third visit when it's been mind blowing. Worth it especially for drinks in the back bar--feels like you're in Brooklyn.
