Beers were tasty and affordable. The beer flight was fun! Nice college town scene and fun location. Fun place to go with friends

I had an IPA and my husband had the Amber Ale. Excellent beers. Very nice evening to sit outside and enjoy the crowds. We haven't been in Chapel Hill in 40 years, were students back then. Quite a change I can tell you !! Table service is excellent as well. Really enjoyed our time.

We brought our son and his girlfriend from out of town here. We like the beer paddle, with six different beers. My wife likes the porters and I like the IPAs. The food reminds of British pub fare. We liked the Christmas brew so much we bought a case on the way out. Lots of screens with sports events, if... More

We used to eat and drink here often as "townies" but they have adopted iceberg lettuce and I can't eat it so we don't eat there anymore. We now eat across the street at Carolina Ale House. I keep asking and the management kept ignoring so now they have lost loyal "townie" customers.

We apologize for your unpleasant experience with our menu changes. As we are a locally owned and operated company, we do like to keep our menu fresh by rotating new items and old favorites. Our current salad blend is a mix of several lettuces (though we do use shredded iceberg on our sandwiches and burgers) so I'm not sure how... More

One of my favorite low-key bar joints. Pub style food that is always delicious with home brewed beer. Flights are always the way to go. Perfect for a casual date night, just hanging with the friends, catching a game, or even a family night. Portions are good and price is right. Great staff and atmosphere.

Lack of organisation to be able to serve a big group. Our dinner was just a series of confusions: from the drinks forgotten, exchanged, the plates served without forks n knives, and the 35 min lost in order to split our bill. I would recommend the food, but won't go again in group as they obviously cannot handle it. Disapointed

A huge concentration of incompetence and unfriendly people. The waitress was totally out of scope, she was not nice at all. The manager was everything but a manager. Unable to split the bill, unable to make calculation.... the only one trying to help was Will. Will one advice: go away ! Let them kill the business by their own.

45 min to get a beer, 1h to get food for some of us....ok we were 25 people but should we apologize to come with too many people in their restaurant?? Also quite strange server; when I propose her to go with her to the cashier to help for the payment with our several credit cards, she answered: do you... More

Excellent spot to watch the football game. We went with our whole family and ate a late lunch/early dinner. Very nice host and waitstaff. We enjoyed great nachos with chicken, burrito bowls and a delicious Greek salad. We stayed for a few hours and never felt rushed to give up our table. Nice place to stop in to grab a... More

I've visited the Carolina Brewery many times over the years. I was disappointed on my most recent visit on a Friday evening during UNC Family Weekend. The service was quite slow. We waited over a half hour for our food. Our waitress apologized for the wait, saying that a large group had ordered just ahead of us. Okay, I understand... More
