Cherokee doesn't have many restaurants other than fast food. In addition, many places are closed for the off-season (fall and winter). We went to Rancho Viejo based on other reviews on Trip Advisor and we were so happy we did. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The prices were quite reasonable with generous portions. Quality was excellent. The pork,... More

This place has some of the best Mexican style food I have ever tasted. Everyone in the group was very satisfied and loved their dish. I suggest the Chile Verde.

Food was good and served large portions. They tout themselves as "authenetic Mexican food" and this is basically true. I had a lunnch special that was very reasonably priced. Would reccomend

The food is awesome!! No alcohol here but sooooo worth the meal! We dined here for our anniversary dinner and loved it! If you love authentic Mexican food you've got to go here!

Went one day for dinner and came back the next day. Good food, good service, nice price! I'll repeat if I'm ever in Cherokee again.

My wife and i ate here twice during a fall leaf viewing trip. Both dinners were during the week. The location is in a strip mall but the place is clean and the service was excellent. The menu has a larger selection than most typical tex mex locations and the food was very good. A reminder though for people not... More

Cherokee doesn't have many great places to eat at... they all close early, are POORLY rated, or are chain/fast-food. This place was actually well rated, so we decided to check it out and although we were hesitant at first, we were pleased! Food hit the spot. Wish they had margaritas though... Staff was mostly friendly, except for one waitress who... More

Nice little Mexican restaurant in an unassuming strip-mall location. Wasn't sure about trying it from the outside, but inside it was very nice and clean and spacious. Great for groups or families with small kids. We were greeted and seated immediately upon arriving and everyone who worked there was very friendly. The bathrooms very very clean, they even had smelly... More

Ate here at the advice of the hotel staff. We frequent Mexican restaurants and were disappointed with this one. We felt it was average at best. Service was fine. Good chips and salsa were served while we waited for our meal. Meals were pretty bland. Prices were average.
