It looks like just a small sandwich shop. Inside they offer soup and sandwiches and drinks. Service is fast. The staff are friendly and efficient. We dropped in on them and I did not think they could get us all served as fast as they did. There were that day, a choice of several soups. I had the black bean.... More

This is our second time to Sassy's, back after about 3 years. They have a limited menu of soups, salads, and sandwiches, along with coffee, juices, and naturally flavored water. Was glad to see they were still serving great food. Stopped by for a late lunch 6 of us, the sandwiches were great and the soups even better. Stayed for... More

We have been thru Cherokee many times but decided to find a new place to eat lunch. We found the Sassy Sunflower Bakery on Tripadvisor so decided to stop in for lunch. Lunch was delicious . We had the white bean soup, salad with strawberries and pecans. Both were delicious. We will definitely stop there again.

My favorite restaurant in Cherokee. Delicious chicken salad sandwiches on cranberry bread and double baked potato soup

We had lunch here while in Cherokee. This place is a breath of fresh air in a relative desert of restaurants located in and around Cherokee. The sandwiches were excellent. But I would have preferred a soda option instead of tea or water.

Stopped here while in Cherokee and was quite pleased with lunch menu. Great food and excellent service. They are pretty friendly and we ate on their patio. They brought our lab a bowl of water and a dog biscuit and fussed over him. He rated the place a 10!! As there sign says-- best food in town!!

Hiked to Mingo Falls; finished mid morning; needed/wanted coffee; found Sassy Sunflowers. Wife had fantastic cinnamon roll; I had excellent moist tasty red velvet cake. We both had good, fresh black coffee. We've been to a lot of places in NC over the years. This is the FIRST we recall that had a 100% Sanitation Rating posted. Nice, polite staff.... More

This is the kind of place you wish was in your own neighborhood! Great food, nice menu, 7 or 8 different iced teas to choose from and fast, friendly service! Bright and sunny with great views of the mountains, with lots of nearby shopping, you need to check it out if you're ever in Cherokee.

On the GSMNP side of Cherokee today, we decided to have Sassy's for lunch. The rating is great (100)! While I had the 1/2 sandwich & cup of soup special, my daughter chose the Harvest Salad with raspberry vinaigrette dressing. The salad was beautiful! Almost too pretty to eat. I arrived before the noon rush and was able to order... More
