Been too long since we visited Dos Perros. Dinner was superb again. Started with a spicy margarita and then we both had the dinner special. Superbly done lamb chops for myself and the snapper for my wife. Really well done as usual. Highly recommend.

I thought the menu looked great, but the execution of some of the dishes was below standard. The oyster tacos were filled with oysters and tasted good. The steak, a special, was quite tough and my friend barely ate it. The carnitas were really soupy and did not please my husband at all. Service was good.

The food was more varied than the average Mexican restaurant and was very good. We enjoyed our dinner there and will be returning.

We had a good lunch at dos perros this past weekend. The place was not very busy on a Saturday, and the server was very nice. I thought the chili relleno was ok (good veggies & cheese inside the poblano pepper, but the fried crust on the outside was a bit odd), and everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals.... More

This is a little bit off main street, but it is a great little place. They have outdoor seating on a small patio, which is where we ate. All in all good food. It's slightly upscale, so some of the ingredients are not what you would expect, but it was all delicious! We had drinks as well, and our server... More

The mixed drinks were good but not a lot of selections. The appetizers were the best deal for the dinner meal.

Family lunch at this great restaurant. Outstanding service and wonderful food. Lunch portions were just right. Food is what I would call an expanded Mexican menu. Creative and well though out. My *only* complaint is with the parking....have never figured that part out.

I enjoyed the different range of Mexican food on offer, especially the deep fired oysters (yes, surprised me too). We were a big group but there was something to satisfy every eclectic taste bud, including my 3 year old granddaughter.

If you love Mexican Food and want to spend your afternoon or night drinking amazing Margaritas, this is just the place to do this. Considering they have special menus on Sunday (including a wonderful burrito) and Wednesdays (Margarita Pitcher for a special price) I would visit the restaurant on these days.

Dos Perros is my favorite Mexican Restaurant in the Durham area. Interesting dishes with great flavors and creative combinations. The service is prompt and friendly, too.

Thank David M
