Walked in - loved the atmosphere. Ordered wine and waited 20 minutes with no apology. Ordered a cheese plate and a shrimp dish at the same time. Shrimp dish came about 15 minutes before cheese plate. Shrimp was delicious. When cheese plate came out, we were not told what kind of cheeses they were. Also when they brought the cheese... More

Try the bone marrow and the arros with duck and butternut squash! The deviled eggs and dates were great appetizers. Yum! Every dish was superb!

Excellent tapas, with a huge blackboard of choices. I took an out-of-town friend from California. We were both impressed with our choices--we selected meats, veggies and cheese. I highly recommend as I've been many times since it opened. Make reservations for this popular dining spot!

I enjoyed my experience here, and loved the variety of dishes. Has a nice vibe for a date, and I could hear my wife well over the background noise. We had to wait 25 mins to be seated, but the food was worth it. Try the sweetbreads :)

Overall we had a great experience. Started waiting for seats at the bar as we were early. Condescending service at the bar but great drinks & appetiser tapas. Lively environment. Ate our meal upstairs, less atmosphere but much better service. Every tapas dish we had was excellent.

Had the pleasure of enjoying Mateo recently for a birthday dinner with my wife. The ambiance was lively and waitstaff was outstanding as was the food. My recommendation would be to order a round of carefully crafted cocktails and let your waiter/waitress walk you through the menu. Their thorough knowledge of ingredients and how to course out the experience add... More

Never tried tapas before, but now I'm a fan. Most dishes have enough for 4 people to try it. Had 4 in our group so it was perfect. If you're not sure what some of the items are, I'd recommend looking them up or asking the waiter as some dishes are quite adventurous. Luckily they had plenty of delicious, non-adventurous... More

The wait time for a table was 20 minutes at 8:00 pm on a Thursday night so we settled into four chairs at the bar and ordered. This is a tapas restaurant. We had the remolacha(beet salad), the pollo frito and the gambas(garlic shrimp). The pollo frito was a fried chicken breast with pickles. I know this sounds like Chick a... More

This place is so fun, but be in the mood to tolerate a LOT of noise. But no problem 'cuz you're too busy enjoying the sensational tapas. A bit expensive, perhaps, but well worth it. Creative and succulent!!
