Friends suggested we go to Brig's for breakfast, said it was the best in the area. We couldn't agree more! We ate there all 3 days we needed breakfast. The waitstaff was attentive & friendly, food excellent & reasonably priced.

We have eaten at Briggs before and thought it was pretty good but this time the impression was lots of food (reasonably well prepared) with weak coffee, no real maple syrup, huge pancake. I guess for many people that is what they want, but I left with a bad taste in my mouth and a feeling that this was not... More

Brunch with the family. Six adults, 2 toddlers. Besides the fryer being broke, so no sweet potato fries, everything was really good. Worth the bit of a wait. Everything was done as asked. Skillet meals to pancakes to scrambled eggs. The home fries had a bit of a kick which was nice. I think the rye toast was wonderful. I... More

this place is where the locals eat. They serve breakfast all day and have inventive food, such as gingerbread pancakes and a turkey, cranberry and stuffing omelet at Christmas. so come see what's new. It does get crowded at peak meal times and it is small, so keep this in mind, especially with four or more people.

Recently came out for brunch on a Saturday, and expected great things. We had about a 30 min wait for a table of 4, not too bad for a weekend brunch spot. Tried the choc chip pancakes, and found them quite good, but nothing particularly special. That's generally how the rest of my group felt - pretty solid food, good... More

What a fun place to eat! Came here as an out of town guest with a group and really enjoyed it- lots of food, all hot and delicious, reasonable prices, great service, and even the manager stopped by to make sure we were happy. Would highly recommend!

Our son, who lives locally, brought us here last week on a visit to NC- he'd heard about it but hadn't been to it. There was a 5 minute wait at 10:30am but we were seated at a roomy table for 6 and offered coffee to start before ordering. Huge menu, large portions, great food, and great waiter. We all... More

I'm a regular. Omelets are great with a large list to choose from. Good coffee. Good service. Great value.
