I probably would never have found Nosh if not for the internet. I was looking for a spot to take lunch over the weekend and found Nosh highly rated among the restaurants in Durham. I know the general area where Nosh is located, but have driven right past it a few times without realizing it. The restaurant is tucked away... More

Menu is a mix of italian and american dishes ranging from pizza to burgers. Food selection is quite large. Prices are above average. The biggest negative about this resto is the food quality. From the taste, look and texture of the food, it seems this resto uses mostly canned or processed or off-the-shelf ingredients. They have good coffee though.

It is a simple but cute restaurant close to the university. Extensive selection of sandwiches, salads and warps. Food is decent, but slightly overpriced. They have a lovely outside seating area. Ideal place to work/relax and sip coffee.

NOSH really has the potential to be a truly great eatery, but it never manages to actually do it. Their burgers are generally very good to maybe great. The Boo's BLT is awesome if customized to come on wheat bread. Their regular sides, though, are massively carby or bland and tasteless--or both. Hint, potatoes in potato salad should never be... Nosh is a great place to go for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It is affordable, friendly, and the menu is fun and delicious. Great people work there. Love to go there when in Durham.

Had a lovely breakfast with friends. I ate the sausage gravy and biscuits, the special of the day, which was some of the best I've ever had.

First time today. Tough decision on the menu since there were so many that sounded good. Went with DeLuca and pasta salad. It was great! Looking forward to going back.

Been here several times while in or about Duke Hospital, consistently good service and prices. Fortunate so far as never felt rushed or had to wait. Good sandwiches and where "Seinfields" soup nazi character must be currently employed. Has outdoor seating and conversational noise levels.

I've lived in Durham for 3 years and this was one of my favorite places to eat! The variety of options helps if you go in groups, the sandwiches & burgers are excellent. The spritzer and their Nosh chips are delicious and not heavy so that you don't regret finishing them! The people who run the restaurant are always friendly... More
