The hotel has good home town cooking if that is what you are looking for. If you want something fancy this is not the place to go.

We had the standard breakfast eggs, bacon, hash browns and biscuit. It was great and the service was excellent and hometown friendly.

The food was plentiful and just plain good. Husband had fried catfish that he said was great. I sampled the hush puppies and they were gooooood! I had the breaded pork chop which was very tasty but too much gravy for my liking. It was easy to scrape to the side. Service was good. This is a place that the... More

My husband and I stopped here after coming through Cherokee. I wanted good home cooked food and that is exactly what we got. I ordered the chuckwagon with mashed potatoes, green beans and northern beans. My husband ordered the double cheeseburger (real patties not a bubbaburger). Oh, and the banana pudding was delicious. Be sure to have cash. They do... More

Reviews said this was the place to go for Southern home cooking. Maybe the cook had an off day. Not nearly as good as other "home cooking" places we visited in the Smokies, like Mary's Restaurant south of Haysville, NC. Ms Lois' was not awful, just not as flavorful and memorable as we had hoped. Also, not easy to spot--a... More

I had the boneless fried chicken, biscuit, green beans, mashed potatoes, and rice and gravy. The kids split the boneless fried chicken and had macaroni salad and mashed potatoes. My husband had the country fried chicken with cream corn, mixed beans, rice and gravy and cornbread. We all enjoyed it! It is a cash-only restaurant and thank goodness I had... More

Perfect comfort food for a windy & cold day in Franklin...no room for dessert & our total bill for two was $13. Great service too!!!! Will be returning for breakfast & dinner very soon!!! YUM!!

Stopped here for an early dinner and had one of the specials; grilled salmon with 3 sides for approx $10. Nice piece of salmon. Had mashed potatoes, green beans and cole slaw and a biscuit Sides are homemade and delicious.
