Bring Cash & an empty stomach. Seriouly old establishment with good country cooking. Spring & summer is best when you can eat outside & smell the goodness wafting around!

This place is the real BBQ deal. Get there early or go home hungry. No phone, no frills but great food and staff (3 sisters). The chicken is the best that I have had in a cue joint.

I have lived in the Greenville area for the pass 22 years. I have been to this place approx. 8-10 times over the years. However 70% of the time its either long lines or when you get to place your order they have ran out of BBQ. But you have waited in this long line and being told we have... More

We went there 3 days before Xmas and were hoping to try their BBQ as it is always mentioned in top 10 places to eat BBQ at in NC. Unfortunately, they ran out of pork BBQ and only had 2 pieces of BBQ chicken to serve..we only got to try that and some slaw as everything else was gone. Chicken... More

I'm all for small, colorful local dives (often the best food around!), but this place borders on being an oversized trash can: moldy, dirty, falling down-gross! How the local health department hasn't shut this place down is beyond me - perhaps some bribery is involved there. Bland food, no flavor - certainly cannot call this barbeque! Greasy corn something-or-others, WAY... More

I travel to Greenville on business fairly often, and I make a point to hit B's Barbecue for lunch whenever I can! If you're a fan of the eastern NC vinegar-based barbecue, this is it! You see and smell the BBQ cook shack out back, and it's made fresh. Small place: I normally sit outside at the picnic tables, though... More

Famous, basic NC BBQ. Wonderful aroma in air as you approach. Seemingly always a crowd. 15 minute wait at 10:30 on a football Saturday. Limited menu, but who cares!? If you're not a complete NC style BBQ fan, mix B's chopped pork with their slaw. You'll become a convert. Awesome.

I recommend takeout at B's Barbecue as the building is small. You must get there early (10:30 am) to get large orders of BBQ. They only cook the pork shoulder and their slaw is delicious with a slightly sweet flavor. They have no phone (wouldn't have time to answer it) and are closed Sundays and Mondays. I have been eating... More
