My husband and I recently visited the Vintage House to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday. We took a chance since we did not know anyone who had been there before and are we ever glad we did! The atmosphere is great and the service is outstanding! We each chose one of the evening specials for dinner and both of... More

Restaurant is in a renovated older residence. Food is very good with limited gourmet menu. Very pricey with the "specials" at around $28. Large wine selection which also seemed expensive. Go on a special occasion but save up in advance.

This vintage home serves some of the best "made from scratch" meals in Hickory. Everything is made to order, served hot and tastes great. In addition, Matt Parker is very knowledgeable and has one of the best wine collections anywhere. Be sure to order the profiterole's for desert… You will not be disappointed.

Have made multiple visits. Actually, intend to dine there tonight with our party of four or five. The house is an old residence from many decades past. It has quiet charm. The menu is pretty good, although it varies little over time. Few desserts, but they are good. Service has always been fine. Over the years, since the early 1980s,... More

Older house near town sectioned off into a bar area and 3 or 4 rooms. Décor is interesting and tasteful. Our table was in a smaller room which had 5 tables and 5 couples. Our server was delightful and professional. The ambiance was intimate, which was perfect because it was Valentines day. Being valentines day they offered a limited menu... More

My husband and I LOVE the Vintage House. The food is excellent, and the wine list fabulous! Matt Parker serves truly gourmet options at a very affordable price. Have never, ever had a bad meal here! If there were a rating beyond Excellent, the Vintage House would get it!

Had a family holiday diner. Place is very nice outside and in. Greeted immediately and shown to our table (reservations) staff was friendly and very polite. Most of us had the specials which was outstanding. Some had the holiday drink special which was very tasty. Some had the duck pasta which was also very good. Every meal was excellent. Staff... More

I always have the salmon when I go the only thing that would make the salmon better is if I had two pieces of it. My wife Love's the duck and pasta she recently got grits with shrimp and sausage and it was amazing. My wife Loves the key lime cheesecake. She says it's the best cheesecake she has ever... More
