They are no longer on Lexington. Their current location as of July 2015 is 3512 kivett or mlk. Easy to miss, it's in the little plaza next to the gas station close to the hwy85 exit. It took awhile to get our food but boy was it worth the wait and super hot. Great fried chicken but a little salty.... More

We have gotten take-out from Wilks Skillet several times and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent! Good ole country cooking......seasoned perfectly.

I was looking for something different, simple, and close to home. Wilks is one of those places you will never find, unless you know it is there. Not a large menu, nor a large space. Where do I begin? This is a fabulous little family-owned restaurant where people from all walks of of life can find a great meal and meet great friends. The owners are the best of people. They cook the food with love and you will love eating it.
