Passing by High Point on interstate and wanted some good North Carolina BBQ. Found Kepley's online as close to interstate so checked it out - what a great find! Has been in business since 1948 and still uses original vinegar based BBQ sauce recipe that is amazing. The hush puppies were the best I have ever had. The slaw was... More

There is no barbecue better than that of Piedmont N.C., and Kepley's is the best of the best, with a vinegar base. The slaw is also wonderful. Don't be put off by the shabby building. It is just part of the package.

I have been coming here since I was a little kid and this is still my standard for traditional Carolina pulled pork. I advise to use their special sauce along with a little Texas Pete. You can also buy by the pound to take home (which I do as I live in PA now).

We've dined there since we moved into the area. A small place but with great food at very reasonable prices. They offer homemade cherry, peach & blackberry cobbler that is fantastic.

A true wood smoked pork shoulders restaurant. Chopped pork sandwiches, plus hot dogs. Since 1948, talk to Bob who worked for and took over from original owner. Small silver diner from the past. Great place.

When I was a young person, my parents and I would periodically visit my grandparents and aunts who lived in High Point. For me, eating barbecue at Kepley's was worth the visit. My grandparents and parents died long ago and I recently went to High Point for the funeral of my last surviving aunt. As has been my practice for... More

Ate here for lunch and was dsappointrd in the cue. Found it to be dry and tasteless, also had hard bits of meat mixed in. The slaw had too much vinegar. Service as always was very good.

I grew up in High Point and Kepleys BBQ has been there since I can remember. Best BBQ, slaw and hush puppies in the South. Unique flavor that is hard to duplicate. Can't get enough. Family owned and operated.

So during our wedding details one night trip my fiance decided the family needed to try kepleys so we did. It was very good! The hushpuppies are out of this world. And i cant say enough about Paw-paw, he introduced himself to the kids as pawpaw. He even let them pick something out of the candy counter. It really touched... More

We eat here whenever we can and need a good quick meal. It's pretty much only BBQ or hot dogs with all the fixins like it has been for generations. This BBQ is very food whether chopped of sliced and the ice tea is southern style good! They do more take-out and catering than eat-in and the table seating is... More
