Innovative farm-fresh cuisine for lunch and dinner in an environment of relaxed elegance. Most menu items sourced locally and grown organically at The Farm at Old Edwards. Dine indoors year-round or outdoors in the warm months at the Wine Garden beside the beautiful waterfall. (Breakfast service is for hotel guests only.)
Central location, great atmosphere, good but inconsistent service, and good but inconsistent food. Good wine selection. Our favorite "shrimps with grits" can be rich, flavorful and adequate but recently it was a an extremely small portion of grits (that all guests at our table had...More
Let’s starts by saying that while we didn’t stay at the Inn is beautiful! Perfect compliment to picturesque Highlands, NC. Dinner was great, we felt as ease throughout our dinner. We arrived before the Christmas tourist season but the area and restaurant was still active...More

Resort casual is perfect. Old Edwards is a leisure resort, and you need to be comfortable. Women even wear nice jeans sometimes, or a simple, unfussy dress. Or if you're feeling dressy, that is fine too, but I wouldn't recommend over-the-top stuffy unless it is a special occasion or something and you just feel like it. Men wear resort casual like khakis or nice slacks and shirt for evening. The menu varies seasonally based on what is growing in the gardens, and there are also nightly specials. But as far as the menu varying from day to day during the week, that only happens with the nightly specials. Enjoy your meal at Madison's!
