ate lunch at this restaurant because it was recommended by locals. Food was good service quick but waitress was not. Had to ask for straws for our drinks and utensils which we never received. We did order a sandwich but still needed utensils.

Had the opportunity to visit this fine institution of BBQ delight while visiting family in High Point. The BBQ, hush puppies, slaw and sweet tea were just perfect. This is North Carolina BBQ at its best. While the parking lot and restaurant were packed, the line moved and tables turned over in a reasonable fashion. The wait staff was cordial... More

I am visiting a friend in Lexington, and she introduced me and my kids , and it was a huge hit! The Bbq was amazing, as were the baked beans! The service was great, and the wait time was non existent, even though they were busy! Definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Moist tasty pork BBQ sandwich. This is the best I've had in the Carolinas. Very quick service even with long lines waiting. Will definitely stop again when in area.

We visit this restaurant frequently. The service is good. The food is always great at Lexington Barbecue and the portions are big. Try the course chopped barbecue tray, delicious!

The selection of food is broad with a variety of cuts to the meats. I just asked to waitress for advice and she steered me right! I had the thick cut plate with lots of pork, fries, slaw and hush puppies. I just couldn't finish it because there was so much food! The meal was delicious - the kind that... More

Yea, I had to hunt for this place because my GPS did not place the spot where it is. I was off by 2-miles. I read about it in a barbecue book. All good. While driving on the Interstate I decided this would be a excellent time to stop and try it out. Definitely some of the best North Carolina... More

Traveling up 1-85, Lexington BBQ is a mandatory stop, even if that means eating lunch at 2:30. It's worth the wait! Delicious chopped pork, slaw, and hush puppies. My only complaint is the homemade hot sauce is not spicy enough for my taste. So, take the short trip off I-85 and eat some wonderful NC style BBQ .

Lexington Barbecue is a must when going to or through Lexington, NC. It has been around forever it seems. I traveled 40 miles just to eat their BBQ. Excellent food with excellent service and great timing with food and drinks. Great price. Will go back over and over and over and have for many years.

Thank laughterwithbob
