Just visited Maggie Valley for a quick weekend getaway. We always eat here when in the area. They have good home cooking comfort food. Always have a good meal, friendly waitstaff. For lunch we had fried chicken, mashed potatoes, cornbread muffins, corn on the cob, etc. All very good and the tea is good too. We don't feel our visit... More

We have eaten lunch and supper here before, but never breakfast. Both of us had eggs with a large piece of country ham, too much to eat when we were about to start a long trip. Waitress offered us each an extra biscuit to take with us and we had ham and biscuits for lunch. Staff was polite and helpful.

We eat here just about every time we are in Maggie Valley. The food is good, the menu has a big variety and the servers are always cheerful and friendly. You really feel like it's a family place.

Sunday lunch and place was busy but not packed. We obviously got a terrible waitress. It took forever to get our order, Then drinks were long coming. Food arrived after a long time and several tables around us were seated and served long after us. I knew we were in trouble then. When we got food is was not hot... More

Great Rainbow Trout with eggs and fresh biscuits and red potatoes. Service was very good, food even better. It's like stepping back in time. Like the good old days good service, good food, and a very good price. Yes we will be back.

This is a great local diner with a varied menu so it is always busy. We ate dinner one day and breakfast a couple days later. On the waitress’s recommendation, I got the meatloaf dinner with pinto beans and red skin mashed potatoes ($9.50). Yummy! The meatloaf was dense and heavy but had a lot of flavor. The gravy on...
