Great place for a good breakfast. Nothing fancy but good food. Service was very good. You can't go wrong eating here.

This was the first and the last time my family will be visiting this establishment. We had been wanting to try it for the last few months and finally made it. When we walked in we should have walked back out. The walls are bare except for a few large blown up pictures. There is no restaurant vibe. No excitement.... More

I work close to the restaurant so I thought I would give it a try. The restaurant is very small. It does have a cozy atmosphere and it seemed like the few people that were there were regulars. I ordered the chicken tender salad. I didn't think you could really mess up a salad but it was lacklustre. They were... More

The Black Eyed Pea has incredibly delicious food and warm, welcoming service. I have been taking my family there for years, as often as we can all get together for a meal. If you eat there once, you're part of the family. The Mediterranean Pasta is perfect- artichokes, sun-dried tomatoes, feta- the Chicken Athena is a favorite of my mother's,... More

We were there during lunch time. My husband ordered breakfast items while I ordered their grilled salmon with corn pudding and cole slaw. Excellent! Will go back again.

I will keep this simple whoever owns this has made a few fatal mistakes....we are in the south, so if you name your restaurant after a vegetable you should have it on the menu at least one time? I was hoping for some down-home cooking with some butter beans or black eyed peas.....none...just a soggy weak menu....The only thing good... More

We've been there a number of times...only for Breakfast but have never been disappointed. The food is fresh, well presented and the staff pleasant. It is off the beaten path of Brawley School Road but well worth the effort!

I had breakfast with a friend who is a regular at the black-eyed pea restaurant. I was very pleasantly surprised. The waiter, Roy could not have been more helpful. He made suggestions on what to have and kept close watch on us to make sure we had everything we needed. He made us feel like old friends even though there... More

My wife and I stopped in here the other afternoon for the first time. We were curious to see what this place was all about as we didn't even realize the Daily Grind had closed. I ordered the Greek salad and my wife had the salmon. I think this is probably the best greek salad I have ever tried. The... More

This place opened in the old spot previously held by the Daily Grind. A co-worker and I decided to try them out for lunch today. If you’re unfamiliar with the layout of the restaurant it is very small. They have six booths and just a few tables. So the place doesn’t seat all that many. Our waiter was sitting in... More
