My girls both enjoyed a birthday cake milkshake and loved it. Others in our group enjoyed a traditional root beet float. The service was great, as was the atmosphere. A fun little stop on our trip down Main Street.

We were just not impressed with this restaurant. The employees did not seem to work clean. Yes they wore gloves, but, they touched their faces and hair and then touched food. It was not crowded but seem to take forever for service. 30 minutes for a milk shake.

Visited Mt. Airy with friends and had lunch at this Soda Fountain which was said to be the basis for the fountain in the Andy Griffith Show. What we found was an older fountain, with very nice people running it and pretty good food. We all splurged and had cheeseburgers with different flavor malts, and walked away laughing with full... Stopped here with my husband after a visit to Pilot Mountain. We loved it! The workers were extremely polite and helpful. The food was tasty and the malt was wonderful! We spilt one and still found ourselves struggling to finish it. They got a bit busy before we ordered our malt so we had to wait a little bit but... More

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat and drink. Never disappointed in their food. One of the few Soda Fountain bars left that I know of. We always make a pit stop here when we are visiting Mt. Airy.

My wife and I went there hoping to get treats and ice cream. We arrived over 1 hour before their posted closing time of 5 PM and the door was locked and the employees were cleaning up. They saw us and did not say sorry or even acknowledge us as we pulled on the door to find it locked. We... More

Gotta visit this place! The shakes and sodas looked delicious! It was fun to see to all of the autographed photos. If you are a fan of The Andy Griffith Show, you need to stop in and visit!

Thank Tammy W

Old fashioned soda fountain - new ownership - use old fashioned glass bowls/dishes. Also serve hotdogs and a couple of other small sandwiches.
