This place has been here for as long as I can remember. Located across from Jeanettes pier in Nags Head. I love their breakfast. his is a small place that is usually packed. Has a small bar too. Open for breakfast lunch and dinner.

I always tey to catch a breakfast here, while heading through the Outer Banks. The food is excellent and the old paneling creates quite a charming atmosphere.

the wait can look crazy but once seated and get your food you will realize the food is worth it. So much on the plate I could not eat it all but so damn good. We tried to go both days.

Every summer over the last 25 years I can count on Sam and Omies tho be there and just as good as it's always been. All the good is good. We've never had a problem with any order or server. Summer months will usually be crowded in the evening.

This is a wonderful place that most locals visit for breakfast and lunch. We've been going to the OBX for over 8 years now and always visit this place to enjoy breakfast and/or lunch. Food quality is good, service is personable and prices are reasonable. This is a must visit if your planning on being in Nags Head.

First impressions are everything to me, and this friendly little pub that appears to be a hangout for local fisherman. If your not a local you might not feel comfortable there in my opinion. I stopped by and they were friendly and got a fantastic Spaghetti Dinner special. I was so impressed I came back the next night and it... More

A must stop for at least one breakfast or lunch in particular. Great food and friendly staff with " Old Nags Head" charm.

Came for lunch just before thanksgiving. Wanting a good warm seafood chowder. Maybe I'm missing something about local foods but their clam chowder is a broth-based (not creamy new-England style or tomato Manhattan style). I didn't care for it but my son & mother liked it. Their house salad was just iceberg (nothing really green) but it did have tomatoes... More

We used to be able to find places like Sam & Omie’s scattered all over the Carolina coast, but they are few and far between these days. Lines stretch out the door even in the off season for good reason. The Hatteras Clam Chowder is the best example we know of the broth-based – no tomatoes and no cream—style that... More
