We arrived at 4:30 on a Saturday. Our hope was to just sit at the Wild Turkey Lounge bar for dinner, but it was already packed. And we learned the tables were already spoken for and many ahead of us. So we did get to sit at a table right inside the entrance and have cheese and crackers and order... More

I have had the opportunity to dine and entertain customers here several times. Gathering in the bar is always a high point - with great drinks, and an interesting appetizer bar with pickles, olives, cherry peppers, and both bleu cheese and cheddar flavored spreads for crackers. A great way to start the evening off. We dined upstairs, and I had... More

Had dinner tonight with family to celebrate a retirement. I had never been before. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Our server, Todd, was fabulous and very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. I had the salmon and it was superb. Most everyone else ordered steaks and all were very pleased with them. Portions are large but if you can't eat it... More

I was introduced to this restaurant a week ago by a local who knew well that this restaurant was a "MUST" during a visit to Raleigh. I was awed by my visit here before the main course even arrived, as this place seems to have perfected every facet of running a great restaurant. Here is the slow-walk of my experience:... More

The Angus Barn is a little over the top with the holiday decorations etc but they still manage to deliver an amazing meal each time. It's busy every night for a reason. The prime rib, steaks are all excellent. We had a group of 25 and the service was fantastic. I would highly recommend to any size group or occasion.

1) Angus Barn wows in aesthetics. Christmas decorations were still up and phenomenal 2) TOO overcrowded and over booked. Hard to understand why they have to cram the tables in there, have it so packed outside and in the lobby that you can't get out. But the almighty $$ reigns. 3) We sent 3 of our 7 steaks back that... This place is really really good about meat. They are heaven of meat lovers. Little bit over price place but if you are in Raleigh, try them at least one times. They will not give you dissappointment.

We had dinner and drinks in the lounge. Great atmosphere with vibrate bar scene. Tv for sports. Can do appetizers or fill menu. Service is always impeccable

I mean you gotta go to the Angus Barn. It does have good food, free Apples and it is right behind the airport or right on the flight path. Don't go without meeting some friends upstairs in the lounge prior to any "boring" dinner! Also the wine cellar tour is a must, lots of history there and a big collection.

We, a party of three celebrating a birthday! Visited the Angus Barn on January 16. At first we were a bit put off by the exceedingly garish holiday decorations still in place. Like, in every conceivable place. There seems to be other more interesting items on the walls, including what appears to be a buffalo head, but the decorations obscured... More
