My first time even though my family has roots there in Raleigh. A lot to take in with such a large location. All our servers were so nice and even had a visit by the owner at our table to make sure everything was ok. She arranged for the "owner tour" of the entire Barn. Truly amazing ! Yes, the... More

I took my friend to celebrate a special occasion, engagement, I needed the best steak and atmosphere for this night. I put the ring in a glass of Champagne and waited for her to find it. All of a sudden, tears came to her eyes and the lips quivered and the word "YES" was shouted to the amazement of fellow... More

After traveling all day, we were happy to have a good dinner. Service was great as well as the food. The angus burger was 1 lb of deliciousness!

Just an absolutely excellent experience. Tremendous service, food and atmosphere. They provide fine, white glove dining downstairs for larger parties and a wine celler 2nd to none!

Very busy, even on a Sunday night. Sat upstairs. Huge portions and fun cheese/olive bar that's included. A must-go to if in the area. But - must love meat.

This is obviously a very popular restaurant in the Raleigh area. The parking lot was huge and nearly full with lots of high end cars. We saw several Bentleys and Land Rovers. The interior is very rustic and does have that "barn" feel. We had a little bit of a wait so we grabbed a drink downstairs and had some... More

The Angus Barn has been a local go-to fancy restaurant for politicians, country club set, and general folks seemingly my whole life (I'm 60). It was a place my parents went for special occasions. Admittedly I'd never been until about 5 years ago (astonishing in this area). I've now been several times, always for "business" dinners meant to impress clients.... More

Had dinner here on Saturday night with my wife to celebrate an early Valentine's Day. Excellent service though one downside. Ordered the prime rib/rib combo and the ribs were served cold and the prime rib was ordered medium rare and was served almost medium well. Besides that, excellent evening.

We don't buy steaks, we don't grill steaks as a matter of preference my wife would choose bison over beef. Angus Barn is different however, 30% of what a customer experiences is the lore and lure of fine dining. Servers in suits, dim lighting, sport jackets, high heels and rustic decor as well as valet parking create an storied atmosphere.... More

We had a wonderful pre-Valentine day dinner. When we were seated, our sever (Michael) brought us housemade crackers and cheese spread as well as a relish tray. Loved it but don't fill up on it! Our entrees came with a choice of soups or salads. I had an amazing wedge salad; my husband had French onion soup. For entrees, I... More
