I hadn't been to this great place since my college days at NC State University, for which this restaurant serves as a shrine. As a Wolfpack fan you can choose to sit in the "Doeren Booth," named after current head football coach Dave Doeren, while looking at photos of Jim Valvanos team after winning the National Championship in 1983. That's... More

I've been to Amedeo's more than once for dinner and find that the pizza and other items are okay. Also the sweet tea should be prepared fresh more often. The sweet tea has that syrupy taste because it's been sitting in the container for a long time. The pizza is good nice sized portions. The service is ham- handed, they... More

Although we live in the far northwest corner of Wake County, we always make it a point to eat at Amedeo's when we are near NC State University. The food is fabulous, the service is terrific and consistently friendly, and we love the Wolfpack decor and memorabilia. Over the past 30 years, we have ordered numerous things from their menu,... This restaurant has been in business since tge early 1960's. We have passed by many times (located near North Carolina State University) and it is always busy. Especially when State is playing a sports game. Although the interior could do for some remodeling, its i very clean and the food was great. Especially good was the Lasagna made with beef... More

Amedeo's never disappoints. We've been frequenting this Italian Restaurant for many years. The pizza is second to none. Greek salad (with house greek vinagerette) and Anti-pasto salad are both off the hook. But best of all is the lasagna! AND to top it all off...the restaurant is a shrine to the NC State Wolfpack, however, all fans/alumni are welcome...even Tarheels... More

A great place to stop when going today event at NC State. Ordered the carbonara and small pizza and it was more than enough for two . Carbonara was outstanding and the pizza even better.

The food was tasty and the servers were friendly. We came with a large group and they did their best to accommodate all of us. That said, we did experience some significant problems. The first being the roaches (yes, plural) that visited us in the back room. One fell off the ceiling onto a member of our party. Another scurried... More

It's been a while since we've been here and I didn't remember it being that great. Well, apparently i mis-remembered, because it was terrific. It wasn't busy when we got there. Service was on top of everything. Had the spaghetti and meatballs. The sauce was seasoned just right. The meatballs were dense without being heavy on the stomach. The whole... More

This is a place you must visit if you are part of the Wolfpack Nation. They have great pizza and italian food set in a restaurant with all elements of Wolfpack sports. All of the Packs great athletes and coaches have eaten here and their photos are on the wall. The recipes are family classics that make you want more!
