Trendy but not too Mexican spot that my date, a native, said had food like his Mother made. Beautifully plated but not excessive portions. A Raleigh favorite.

Some colleagues and I needed a quick lunch while on break from court. We saw Gringo A Go Go and thought we'd try it out. The food was fresh and delicious, especially the guacamole. The service was fast and friendly, too. Fit the bill perfectly.

My teammates and I try to go here at least once per month. It is definitely one of our favorites and crazy I usually find myself ordering the same thing each time because I simply love it! I honestly can't remember what the dish is called, however I know it's two soft tacos with pulled pork with slaw and radishes... More

Quick cocktail lunch with a buddy and was markedly surprised at the excellent lunch entrée of fish tacos......largely unadulterated with sauces or slathers, the tacos come as lightly breaded/fried catfish tenders on soft flour tortillas with a sprinkling of cilantro and a side dipper of jalapeno salsa.....outstanding! My vegetarian bud swooned over his ricotta-filled empanada claiming the fried dough shell... More

Cold beer, tasty food (my 12 year old said the chicken quesadilla was the freshest and best he has ever had) all with a great laid back atmosphere. Last night we heard some old George Jones and Johnny Cash! Guac and chips and the salsas get 5 stars!! Would def recommend as long as not looking for "fancy".

As others have mentioned, this restaurant is a little pricey if you're expecting an out of the box Mexican restaurant; however, this place is not out of the box. Gringo is authentic, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the food is one of the best I've had!

We made our way here from the Skyhouse. Our server Brent was great. The menu was simple (one Page). Great selection of salsa from mild to hot. We chose the orange and pica degio. Both were great. We had the vegan burrito both of us split one. More than enough. The owner Benji was fantastic with our grand daughter. He... More

We love Gringo A Go Go! It's a small, cool place with quality food. The owner is kind and generous. Whenever we bring our daughter, who is not quite one year old, he brings us a small bowl of beans and rice for her. He talks to her and checks on her all throughout our visit. Of course, we try...
