To begin, the food was awesome, hands down it was delicious and inventive! But let's be honest, a lot of restaurants have good food. What really sets Raleigh Times apart are their staff. From the manager (Justin) on down, everyone went way, way beyond expectations when our son accidentally left his retainer on his plate. To add even more awesomeness,... More

We had lunch here on a beautiful day after visiting the NC Archives. We sat outside and were waited on by Cheyanne (who did a good job). We started with the tamales - a great appetizer. Cheyanne recommended several options (Shrimp & Grits, Salmon Fried Rice and ... ultimately the Cheeseburger. We opted for the burgers and were very pleased... More

Dropped in for a downtown lunch. Had not been there before. We had Fish and Chips and chicken fingers. It was excellent. The F & C was some of the best ever. Also the chicken was very good. Nice people and atmosphere.

I just went to Raleigh Times Bar and it was absolutely terrible! Both my husband and my drinks were disgusting, we had to drink them very quickly to be done with them. The BBQ nachos were ok. My drink was supposed to be a blackberry whiskey sour and it tasted like Blackberry whiskey and dish water. We were extremely unimpressed.

They have good food, worth the stop, but what makes this place great is the outstanding beer list. Anything you could want, I love a good IPA and I was not disappointed!

I love this kind of place with the old bar back and historic location. Quite the gathering place and in the heart of Raleigh. The food was quite good with a great selection of taps. The bar tender was super, polite and professional. The bantering at the bar to us NW Yankees was fun

If you're going to Raleigh, and want to go to a place where the locals go as to post as opposed to a tourist place, this is it. I'm sure tourist show up, but for the most part it's local people in jeans and T-shirts, kicking back with a cuppa coffee and a laptop. The food is awesome! Locally grown,... More

Although being in my sixties I loved the metropolitan uptown young atmosphere. Service was excellent. My wife choose for their famous burger and it was as expected .... very good quality meat well prepared. I had a Cuban sandwich. The sandwich was very good although I have to say I ate a better one on a Cuban place on Fort... More

This place is the original site of the Times and has some unique charm as a result. The atmosphere was very nice, the staff was fantastically friendly and our experience was such that I wouldn't hesitate to return. The beer selection was excellent and our bartender was fantastic with helping pick through the list to find an amazingly good beer... More

This place is fantastic if your looking for authenticity while traveling through Raleigh I highly recommend it. The waiter was FANTASTIC and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. Best salad I think I've EVER had. Cute little pub that was once a real working newspaper!
