Not recommended. Had a grilled fish that was very small with no flavor. Pasta was terrible, and the check turned out to be more than expected,

it was a bad and rude experience in trapani… the first time the staff forgot to even bring drinks, then we wanted to take back what we didn't eat… talked about it many times to the staff, they said ok, but then we can Not...because the manager or the owner they didn’t understand us, but why didn’t he say that he didn’t understand ... there really was a lot of food. in fact we paid first and they brought us the order and it was our mistake…. we should leave this place early because how quickly we drink even drinks… The octopus was overcooked, with a huge amount of salt and too dry, no taste, other food was ok, but there are many great restaurants here. finally the owner or manager was very rude to us. I don’t believe that people return here with tents ... ((((unfortunately Actually, they have an advertisement, that they’re have take away service…. And do not believe that they are not understood usMore
Staff and incompetent service ruined a wonderful evening in Trapani. With an incomplete landing in the restaurant, the official forgot to bring drinks within half an hour. For several people, the dishes were brought with a difference of 15 minutes. The staff took the order...in English. At the end of dinner, we asked for a take-away, despite the fact that the restaurant has a "take away" sign. The waiter understood us and asked us to wait. After 20 minutes of waiting, it turned out that part of our "take away" dinner was in the bin, and the waiter did not understand us and said that this was not his problem. I strongly do not recommend visiting this establishment. Spoiled evening and stomach pain from overdone rMore
We all orderd differt kind of “specialities” and there were all very oilly and smelly. And the little squids were leftover. It was t what we expected at all!
We ordered a ottimo of mixed fried fish and seafood pasta. Everything was oily and smelly. It is clear the raw material they use is not of a good quality …
We called today as probably the only restaurant open in town as the mayor had shut the town down due to flood warnings ! But it was our gain … delicious fried fish and local wine . Very tasty and reasonably priced . Cannoli shop...next door for desert . A fabulous lunch on a horrid day ThanksMore
The most delicious fresh fish, beautifully cooked. Couscous and pasta cooked fresh every day. Delicious locally made sausages. Wonderful atmosphere and welcome from the fantastic Pepe, Alberto and Alberto!! We kept coming back!
I visited this cute and traditional restaurant with my 6 years old daughter. From the beginning we were made feel welcome and the homey atmosphere was great. The two owners Peppe and Alberto but also nonna Ignazia make this place even more unforgettable. They went...the extra mile with my kid and she is definitely not easy to please. All the dishes were super fresh and they were made following the tradition, I recommend nonna Ignazia couscous, the coppos and the cannoli! Simply a great experience!More
one of the best płace in Trapani. food was very good, wine delicious and huge and the best service - Pepe :)))
Just what I wanted. No thrills, fresh tasty seafood and drink served by very friendly staff. I ordered the fried octopus. In a great location.
After reading all the rave reviews as a cheap eats restaurant we decided to give it a go. Firstly we asked for a jug of their house red wine and we could not drink it, it was oxidised but to their credit they took it...back offered a white wine which was quite good. On their recommendation we ordered the fish cous cous and the tagliere di fritto, we were going to share but on seeing the tagliere di fritto my husband could not eat it, just ALL tiny whole fish with hundreds of bones etc, I would have thought a tagliere di fritto would be a mixture of fish, prawn, squid etc maybe lost in translation. So he had the cous cous and I had the bony fish! Big prices for very small meals, I agree with previous review restaurant prices for a very small meal at a street food place. We have had far better meals for a lot less cost whilst in Sicily for 3 weeks.More
Best fresh fish restaurant I found here in Sicilia. Fried Tapas and a typical Sicilian tube and typical sicilian vine. #1
We are delicius and fresh fish! Everyone was very cool and professional!!! 👌🏽 Do not hesitate to eat at Mareeeif you are in Trapani
Visiting friends in Sicily, I was recommended Maree by locals who really made a big fuss about how good their food is. I was not let down. What I wasn't told is how fantastic the service is, the staff are warm and friendly, knowledgeable about...the menu and enthusiastic about making their customers happy. For those more price sensitive, it's a fantastic choice. You'll have a great meal without blowing your budget. Don't leave Trapani without a visit to Maree.More
