We were in the area for the weekend and popped into the pub for lunch. The staff were friendly and the menu was varied and had vegetarian choices. I had the veg chilli nachos which were lovely, lots of veg and beans and pretty spicy.

We both had burgers, which came with lovely crispy chips and a side salad. The burgers themselves were generous and well cooked and we both left absolutely stuffed.... More

Its okay, just what you would expect in a busy resort pub. A large Menu of basically fast food. For a pint and a top up of food its fine. One thing I find strange. All the food is brought to the table and then the person serving you disappear's to return with all the cutlery,by which time your food is getting... More

Great pub for food and drink plus free Wi-Fi. cider very good as was the nacho with chilli. Play park out back for kids with outside seating all around some of it undercover or out of the sun - weather permitting of course, but we had good weather even early April 2017

While staying at Ruda we walked to Croyde village and called into Billy Budds for lunch we order several pizzas and chips to share between us. The food was simple, but delicious. The chips were especially good, cut with more surface area meant they were extra crispy once fried. We've eaten here before and knew what to expect from the... More
