My wife and I were part of a group of neighbors meeting to discuss neighborhood watch at the Todd House. We all had dinner before the meeting. Most people, including my wife had the buffet and were quite happy with the selection and the freshness and flavor of the food - as well as the desert bar! I was one... More

What a great place to eat in Tabor City, North Carolina. Well established restaurant in the heart of the small town. The buffet was delicious: fried chicken, pork chops, chicken and dumplings, rice and gravy, Lima beans, sweet potatoes, salads, and desserts. You must try this restaurant and explore the shopping offered in the community. Fun day!!!

The Sunday buffet has plenty of options to satisfy the multiple taste of family members young and old. Good southern cooking. I have also eaten lunch in their sandwich shop. My favorite is the cucumbers stuffed with chicken salad and my husband really likes their chicken sandwich. Very good!

I went to the Todd house last week for Sunday dinner and was very disappointed. No one told me that you seat yourself so finally when someone did tell me and my family I got to the bar and the selection of food was very limited. The taste was not what I expected, I plan on not returning here again.

If you are looking for some good old, home town cooking. This is a great choice. It is very casual and they have a regular lunch buffet. While I was here, they offered pork bbq, fried chicken and baked chicken. There were also a number of sides to choose from. Sweet tea seemed to be the standard drink, but I... More

The Todd House is a buffet style eatery. We normally do not patronize buffets, but this place just has awesome southern cooking. My favorite is the southern fried chicken. It's not oily or greasy. Lightly breaded and seasoned. Just plain good.

Stopped in on a Friday evening expecting a much larger crowd. There were only a dozen or so people eating. The ambience is in desperate need of a face lift. The staff were cordial, but certainly not overly welcoming or available. This is a country buffet. Do not assume that it is like Golden Corral. It is really quite small.... More

Todd has great wholesome home cooking. They are reasonably priced I would eat here again. The vegetables were seasoned correctly.
