Wonderful! We picked the restaurant based on reviews on yelp. The high ratings were well deserved. Our meal was elegant and delicious.

Amazing food. Homemade pasta and fair prices. Josh and his staff are phenomenal chefs that put together fabulous dishes.

Great food and service. Only complaint is the noise level is way too loud. They cram too many tables too close together.

Some of the dishes--ceasar, lamb shank--were excellent, others just okay (fish cakes). the main problem with the visit was that, in this very small restaurant, the chef talked loudly and long and made it difficult for us to converse. It cost too much not to be able to focus on celebrating my wife's birthday. Better value, better atmosphere just down... More

A wonderful experience at this quaint restaurant. My husband had the lamb which was cooked to perfection. I don't like lamb but I had a taste and it was delicious. I had the pasta with the scampi and it too was perfect. It's rare to get homemade pasta and we watched them make it and cook it right before it... More

We had seven in our party and everyone thought the food was excellent. Handmade pasta and shrimp, huge lamb shanks, and perfectly cooked grouper. Also, the wine menu is excellent.

Small intimate restaurant in the wonderful town of Waynesville. The Chef, Josh, attends to each dish insuring that a meal is fantastic. Loved the total feel of this restaurant but the food was the most memorable. Depending on the season making a reservation a must. Have dined in many restaurants however the Chef's Table has risen to one of the... More

I really wanted to like this place. I really did, but I was not impressed. First, the sanitation grade was 91%. Once we were seated, it took over 20 minutes just to get a glass of wine. The service was slow. My husband and I each ordered the Grilled Romaine Salad - the salad was great, but the bacon on... More

Josh who is the Chef is wonderful! The food is great and he grows, raises and is quick to use all local products. He has his own farm. Amazing food and great wine!

Three years in a row on a fall trip we have enjoyed the great food at Chefs Table, but the level of service just does not equal the quality of food. In my opinion, the wait staff is understaffed. The waiter in the front not only waits on tables but greets guests as they arrive and both waiters bus their... More
