I finally visited this place for lunch after being told it was awesome. It was super packed and the service was slow. The food was below average, and made me wonder why this place is so popular. I was surprised to see that this place is more of a sports bar, and appears to focus more on bar food. I... More

This is a great "local" type of bar and grill. The staff is friendly and always treat you like they know you. The place is energetic. It is not extremely loud but everyone seems to be having fun. The drinks are good whether you are drinking alcoholic or non-alcoholic. The food is always well prepared, served quickly, tastes great and... More

Quaint place to eat; great beer selection and food selection. Tables are close together, but that just adds to the atmosphere.

It was very busy, I think we got the last Table. Everyone knows where to go! We love the Copper Penny! The Chestnut chicken sandwich is to die for. You have got to try the slaw with an Asian twist! Great food and fun atmosphere!

I hit the Copper Penny during my one night in Wilmington and I'm glad I did. I was there solo on a weeknight, so I sat at the bar, which was perfect for some pub grub and a couple of beers. The bartender was really friendly, and we spent some time chatting it up when she wasn't busy, which was... More

This pub caters to all sports fans, but especially to fans of Philadelphia sports teams. Catch a Phillies, Flyers, or Eagles game here or just stop in for a craft beer and a delicious burger. Copper Penny is a local favorite and is always a winner in Encore magazine's yearly Encore awards. Prices are reasonable and on Monday nights kids... More

Love going to the Copper Penny whenever we are passing through or staying in town. Great atmosphere and the food and service are always excellent. Our server Kelly was great and went above and beyond what we typically get at other restaurants. Thanks for another great visit.

Our New Jersey friends introduced us to this place because the owners came from near them up north. It's a Philly bar and the pub food is consistently good. The cheesesteaks are to die for, the house chips are great, and the wings are the best in town. I'd highly recommend it.
