We were so very excited to finally try Catch. But it fell short, after studying the menu for 20 ish minutes and getting our hearts set we were told, this will be this instead, this, that, etc for appx 4 or 5 items. The Signature crabcakes were just okay and the Catch tini was so sweet it didn't even taste... More

We started with a Cosmopolitan, which was sour and off putting due to an overuse of Rose's lime juice, which is not in the recipe. The bread was nice. It was warm and had a nice char that was complimented by a thin pesto, which was probably the highlight of the meal. The firecracker shrimp were doughy which made for... More

The food here was hit and miss. We started with the fried calamari. It was very salty and the grease tasted a little old. Definitely wasn't even close to being one of my favorite places to have calamari. My grouper filet was good which was served with mashed sweet potatoes and greens, which was way too vinegary. Didn't really care... More

My husband and I dine out often and aren't easily impressed, but we were pleasantly surprised by the outstanding seafood at Catch. Beautifully prepared, artfully presented, and the flavors were spot on. Don't be deterred by the strip mall location. Catch is a gem!

My husband had been following this chefs career and eager to try his work. As my husband promised I enjoyed every dish that came to the table. I never order lobster, and when I do I am usually not that impressed, the lobster was delicious. I couldn't stop eating. It was a great casual atmosphere with a fine dining presentation.... More

This understated restaurant does not fail to deliver! The menu was inventive, creative and nicely presented. Our server, Jen was very friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs. Service was timely and unobtrusive. We all focused on seafood and very all pleased. The scallop dinner was a wonderful blend of flavors and textures on a bed of parsnip purée. Whoever... More

I went with my picky parents from D.C. Chef Keith Rhodes cannot do wrong! This is by far one of the best places to eat in Wilmington. The chef is extremely creative, and anyone can tell cooking is his art. Runs an extremely tight ship. This was our second visit, and the food was perfect. Came out quick, but not... More

I don't know what was happening in the Catch kitchen last night, but our food was really lackluster. Burnt scallops. Frisée represented as micro greens. Soft shell Crab so over-battered it could have been KFC. She-Crab soup so gritty it was off-putting. Only good dishes were small plates and apps. Ugh! Staff also seemed to want to rush us. Waitperson... More

We wanted to take a second to respond to your dining experience at catch. We value our customers feedback and pride ourselves in our customer service and attention to food detail. Unfortunately in a time when "everyone is a food blogger " we must clear the air, in which this claim seems to be a really exaggerated dining experience. We... More

Catch is one of my favorite restaurants in Wilmington, NC. The last visit we enjoyed our meals. However, I was disappointed by the cocktails and desserts. Usually they have a signature drink for the night, but that was not the case. I had a Moscow mule, and was disappointed. It was decent, but not what I am use to at... More
