The chips are store-bought and they didn't even bother to heat them up; the salsa was pretty much flavorless. I ordered the Cancun, which is enchiladas, with (they claim), "a blend of crab meat and other seafood delicacies." The only filling was mock crab. I wasn't expecting freshly cracked snow crab, and I will eat something that has mock crab,... More

I love coming to Mexican Village. I don't think I've ever had a bad meal here, and I've tried a lot of meals on their large menu. Chips & salsa come out immediately and often. Their salsa is my favorite, blended. Free meal on your birthday if someone else in your party orders an entre. Their margaritas are blended perfectly... More

We have been a fan of Mexican Village for 40 years! The menu and atmosphere remain much the same. We do not get to Fargo often, however we usually visit at least once a year. The service, the chips and salsa are among the best in Fargo. We have not had a bad experience or a poor meal at any... More

This place has been in business i think since i was a child. I had the beef chimi, which was very good. The service was good. I will be back when i'm looking for Mexican in the F-M area.

Comfortable place for late night appetizers. Our server Jasmin is awesome! Friendly, attentive and foods good too! Great place downtown for Mexican food!

Even though it may not be the most excellent Mexican food I've ever had - while still being quite good- combined with the authentic atmosphere, extremely welcoming and friendly staff (I must particularly mention Ricky and Jasmine) and good service, I would highly recommend this to tourists or residents. Very nice, nothing really to criticise.

It's not authentic. Most of the items seem store bought. As in the chips. The salsa with them is most likely tomato sauce with an attempt to throw spices in it. If you are craving Mexican in Fargo...head over to Mango's or Acapulco's. I'm not even sure what a gravy is in regards to a sauce that goes on burritos.... More

This restaurant and its decor made us feel like we feel like we were truly in the south. We thought the food was good and service was a little pushy. Overall was good.

We went on a Wednesday night at 6:45. No waiting immediate seating. As always the chips and salsa arrived immediately. I had two chicken enchiladas with rice. As always they are not the best or the worst they are right in the middle. My wife had rice with lettuce guacamole and cilantro. I know right she's weird. The food, like... More

My family and I have been eating at Downtown Mexican Village regularly for nearly 50 years. The food and the atmosphere are wonderful.
