I had eaten here a couple of years ago and thought the burgers and fries were pretty good. Perhaps I should have stuck to that but we thought we'd try the country fried steak and were disappointed with our meal. I probably won't eat here again.

We went on a Saturday night at about 6 PM. We went because of the fun atmosphere, it looked really fun. The food was kind of spendy, about $13 for a burger, fries (or salad) and a shake. We also opted for a appetizer of Mozarella sticks, which were very good. The waitress looked very messy. Her uniform was filthy.... More

I've eaten at a couple of different kills before including this one 4 years ago.. This location is terrible compared to what is was and to the other.. I visited this restaurant twice in the last month trying to give it a second chance... maybe it was just the cook and waitress.. but even with me coming in on 2... More

This spot has a fun retro decor. They have typical diner far with a few twists. The servers are friendly and pretty on top of it. I found the food just okay though. We ate breakfast there twice and both times the "over-easy" eggs orders were cooked pretty hard. Their coffee is quite weak.

A little awkward to find at first, but once found the experience is so memorable. The look of the place and the swiftness of the staff make it a must try for the diner enthusiast. A slight touch of German foods on the menu along with traditional burgers and fries. The milkshake is worth the weight gain.

On a recent road trip we spotted Kroll's by accident, had a great breakfast and stopped there twice on the return trip North.

Kroll's Diner was on my must-do list of places to eat while on our road trip across the Dakotas! We were not disappointed. I ordered the bowl of Knoephla Soup and my husband chose the senior half roast beef sandwich and cup of Knoephla. The sandwich was a large portion served with real mashed potatoes and he enjoyed every bite.... More

Went there recently with my nephew's family, who live in Fargo. This is their favorite place to eat. They have the usual diner offerings of burgers and sandwiches and such but we were more interested in their German offerings such as the FLEISCHKUECHLE and the KNOEPHLA soup. Open 24 hours which is great.

I ate a Kroll's yesterday with my family and the service was pretty good. Food was sub-par. I had a hot hamburger combo with kneophla soup. I was told by the waitress that they used real potatoes in their mashed potatoes, but I know the mashed potatoes were from flakes. The knoephla soup was lumpy and yellow just like the... More

Hi Lane B, I'm really sorry that you didn't enjoy your meal.
