Absolutely huge ice cream cones with a large selection of flavours and extremely reasonably priced. On a nice day very pleasant to sit on their deck.

Trying to decide which flavour you want from so many is not easy. To make the decision a bit easier we opted for the 2 scoop cone, which in this case turned out to be a case of biting off more than you can eat! By the time I had selected my 2 flavour choices, the 2 scoops were closer... More

Luckily we were with friends who knew the ropes as there were lots of customers and people everywhere. You pay at a central point and receive a ticket which you hand over to the person serving the ice creams. Lots of different flavours so make sure you have a good look before choosing - you also have to select your... More

Lots of flavours to choose from. The wait can feel long as it's busy. Be prepared when waiting to give your ticket voucher to order that your not sure who will be served next as people are all over the place during busy times. I did have a cone one day and I have tried their ice cream sandwich. For... More

The Coombs Ice Cream Parlour is located inside the Coombs Emporium which is not part of the market. Every time I visit Coombs (which is about twice year) I always get an ice cream cone from the Parlour. Unless you REALLY REALLY love ice cream, I suggest you get a one-scoop cone ($3.50) because the one-scooper is HUGE, and it... More

As a frequent visitor we are enjoying their new location. It offers a most comfortable protected patio area. Their variety of flavours has expanded and the quality remains excellent. I noticed a very negative review regarding their food but, while we usually enjoy our meals from Cuckoo's or the Market, I tend to think the 'Ice Cream Parlour' wording in... More

We really enjoyed being able to find a table to sit in the shade. It was a very long line and took some time to get our refreshments. That being said there was a great selection of ice cream, something for everyone. Found it a bit pricey!
