The Blue Heron Inn restaurant is open during winter months by reservation only and the hostess Gale needs three tables of patrons to open. Fortunately for us, we were one of three tables when we visited, and to say the least, we were not disappointed. Portions were so large that we had enough food to doggy bag to our B&B... More

It wasn't just the best meal I have ever had...the whole experience of dining there was so wonderful. Everything was cooked to absolute perfection. The service was warm and prompt. Thank you so much!

Not what we were expecting considering other reviews. Took almost an hour for our food, the food was underwhelming as far as flavour and originality...steak was tender I'll give them that. My napkin had a burnt melted edge, the table linen was snagged, they didn't refill my water until after we got our food, annndd because our food took so... More

The food is great, the service and owner are friendly and there is plenty of parking. You can sit and look out at the water while you eat.

What a treat to enjoy a leisurely birthday dinner during the holiday season, without being bombarded with Christmas music and loud parties! The owner had made a recommendation for the perfect night to book, and she was right. We each enjoyed a fresh fish trio, and chose a crisp, sparkling wine to accompany. The portions were large and the entire... More

We have been here twice now and consider this our new go to restaurant when on the sunshine coast. Having tried many different "fine dining" places before ( Painted Boat etc.) we tried this place on a family recommendation. GREAT CALL! The food was delicious and the staff was soo friendly with our 6 month old Henry, they even carried... More

The food is good, atmosphere is pleaseant service needs a lot of improvement. very misleading to the public on their prices for specials as menus for their specials were not displayed or prices not mentioned to the guests. extremely unethical. it is the last time I went into that place.
