If you are looking for that quaint little fishing village with grandmas home baked bread, local craft beer, and fish that was swimming off the dock 10 feet from your table. This is it!! Your back drop is the famed table top mountains of Gros Morne national park in one direction, and the fjord like harbour to the ocean in... More

Stopped in for a late lunch after our journey from Toronto. The pan-fried halibut was excellent; fresh and very tasty! The chips were fresh cut, not frozen and just as delicious. Very cozy place, great ambiance, friendly staff and a wonderful view of the water. Prices were extremely reasonable for fresh fish. It was our first meal in Newfoundland and... More

We were surprised to get good fish at a reasonable price that was not deep fried. We enjoyed it so much we went back again our second night in town. There is not a great selection of restaurants in Woody Point but the service and food were good. Try the Fisherman's Platter with bacon wrapped scallops, shrimp and fresh cod.... More

We had lunch here and it was wonderful! The food was completely homemade and freshly made! The place is very cosy and the atmosphere very welcoming. We sat on the back balcony with a gorgeous view of Bonne Bay and the setting was gorgeous!!!

This was our second trip to Gros Morne and we think this is the best restaurant we've visited in the park. We visited a few times after a great initial experience and the experience was consistent each time. The ambience is nice, the service is friendly, and the food and drink were excellent. If you have the appetite, get the... More

What a great find, the food, the service, the view were all wonderful. We enjoyed Caplin, Mussels, Chowder, Kale salad, and wild blueberry pie sharing worked well for us as we all wanted some of everything! Our waitress was great and even though we did not see any whales we loved watching for them between bites!

Great atmosphere, great staff. Tried the toutons and another Nfld dish...fries with dressing and gravy!! Toutons better than pancakes as we were told by our server. She was right. Soups delicious as well, meat pie wonderful.

Neat little place. 11 of us had supper and they handled us well. Food was hot, tasty and service with a smile. Love the furniture in the place.
