This restaurant is a must visite when you visit Nova Scotia. In very nice place called advocate Harbour you can find The Wild Caraway. Perfect lunch and the staff is even more perfect !!

Not much out here but this is a hidden gem... husband had delicious broccoli cheddar soup and ploughmans lunch with Best smoked ham on the trip... I had pasta with halibut that was unique in that no pasta sauce but fresh tomatoes... halibut cooked perfectly!

The drive from Halifax is approximately 2.5 hours with half the roads at 80 kmph. Approximately 200 km. Drive to Parrsboro and head to Advocate Harbour just prior to the town. I would make a reservation for evening dinner... More

The prices posted recently are in line with what we got. They change menu every 4 weeks or so..but I doubt the prices change. SUCH good food. Definitely worth the trip!
