We've been to the Cedar House a few times. The food has always been hot and the service has always been friendly and fast. We also enjoy grabbing one of their delicious pies from the bakery on the way passed.

A great restaurent that specializes in home cooking. My absolute favourite is the fish cakes & beans with a small bowl of chowder. Expect lineups at busy times but well worth the wait. Try the tempting bakery items

If the show 'you gotta eat here' goes to CB, I can't imagine they'd miss the Cedar House. Home cooking and baking that is second to none. Lobster rolls, chowder to die for and best of all - homemade chocolate cake with boiled white icing! This is a warm, friendly stop that is not to be missed!

This restaurant is a great place to eat and very unique with it's little bakery but the only thing I have against it and won't go back there is because they put their tip on the bill, they do not tell you they do this and then if you do not notice you are doubling the tip for them and... More

This is a fun place with bags of charm. It's a diner and a bakery and a neighbourhood meeting spot. The chowders are excellent. And we didn't try them but the pies looked spectacular!

Very friendly staff, clean restaurant, but the worst turkey dinner my husband and i ever ate. We ordered take out and when my husband arrived home, i was excited because i normally like the food from here. The potatoes were watery and flavourless, the turnip on the plate didnt even remotely taste like turnip, there was only 2 tablespoons of... More
