This is a great tourist stop, but they do not carry enough sweets. By the time you get there most of the baking stuff is gone, but their sandwiches are great.

This is a great place to stop for a quick bite to eat. Had the pleasure of trying their BLT on multi grain bread, it was delicious! My husband had the chicken breast with grilled veggies which he enjoyed immensely. The restaurant is clean and offers varied sandwiches and soup as well as hot and cold drinks. It is a... More

Friendly, comfortable place for meals, deli food and some local products. Best lobster sandwich in the area, and everything is fresh. Some baked goods are better than others, but I liked the oat cookies best. Limited parking.

Went here for lunch after visiting the Big Spruce Brewery. Wife and I had a couple sandwiches and soup. Was decent, nothing spectacular. Nice seats by the road as well and looking out over the lake.

Tried homemade peanut butter and jam. Coffee was great too. Amazing view. My husband had egg with veggies sandwich for breakfast. He enjoyed it it gets really busy after 11:30 for lunch. So I would suggest going a little early. You'll enjoy the food though.

We live in the area but the location is slightly off our normal route going to Sydney or to Mainland Nova Scotia. However, with company we were doing a 'drive around' and had the opportunity and took it. As always, a great lunch of soup, sandwiches and salads...my guests and I thoroughly enjoyed it all. The quality has remained excellent... More

Love this place. The food is home made and tastes awesome every time. Clean bathroom. Great deck to sit outside and enjoy the lovely scenery of the Bra d'Or.

Overall we were not impressed with the restaurants in Cape Breton - except this one and the Dancing Goat. The place is quite eclectic and the food is fresh, friendly staff, great soups and is not to be missed. Its a short drive out of Baddeck but it is worth it. I would definitely go back

This is a great little deli that served the four of us overstuffed sandwiches for lunch. The ladies kept the several customers served....paying the tab was a bit cumbersome but it was very reasonable and the setting was great..rustic and on the water. They also had a neat selection of spices in bulk mason jars...curious and interesting. We all left happy.

Great sandwiches, great atmosphere...Lovely lil store in the back and just a warm welcoming place. The homemade bread is the BEST! Lobster Rolls so HUGE!
