Small cafe in a great location. Outdoor seating views of water both pond and ocean. Locals gather here. Art store attached is good for a look too.

After an overnight in Cheticamp followed by a lousy coffee we were DSE....Desperately searching espresso‼️ we came upon this delightful little trailer in the middle of nowhere. Our good fortune since it was her last days before closing for the season. The coffee was wonderful as was the wonderful art gallery alongside. A definite winner.

During our summer visit to Nova Scotia this year, my wife and I were delighted to discover the Frog Pond Cafe. We enjoyed the most delicious coffee, chai, food, treats and delights available for miles around. The service was so warm and friendly. Claudia made us feel right at home! Nestled in the picturesque town of Cheticamp, this little café... More

We stopped here a few times after hiking in the nearby Cape Breton Highlands National Park. Uplifting coffee and delicious baked goods rejuvenated us every time. The maple scones are especially yummy. We will certainly return to eat at the adjacent restaurant on our next visit.

I love this little coffee shop because it's unique. Like the name, it basically has a frog pond atmosphere complete with pond and frog decor! The seating area is outdoors but it's very comfortable. (Im actually not sure is there is seating indoors so perhaps there is). The service I received was friendly and my coffee was hot, well-prepared and... More

We did go out of our way to stop here. Coffee was okay at best and the snacks we purchased were below expectations. We found the staff person unfriendly, as though we were somehow inconveniencing her with purchases. On the positive it is beside an art gallery that was great and we made some cool purchases there.

fun folk art, there was a live fiddler there which added to the atmosphere. Good coffee and delish Chai Latte, and it was an added bonus to chat with the carver craftsman.

I regularly stop at the frog pond with my kids to have a some coffee and hot chocolate and I happen to stay a couple hours (wifi and harp music...). The waitress Claudia and Shandel are very friendly and prompt to advise on what to have. Excellent pastries and coffee and great relaxing ambiance. Don't forget to have a look... More

Stopped for a latte on our way out from the Cape Breton Highlands National Park- Grumpy barista and horrible coffee. Tip: Carry a Keruig pod for more reasonable coffee.
