We walked here from Manoir Richelieu late one afternoon and had a drink and some pate. We were impressed enough to make a reservation for dinner and returned a couple of hours later. The service was excellent and the menu is varied - something for everyone. I had salmon tartare to start and the duck confit linguine and both were... More

The location is wonderful, right on the waterfront. Even after sundown, the lights on the quay make the view interesting. The restaurant is a single large open space (so everyone can enjoy the view) but that makes it a bit noisy and anything but intimate. We had a table near a screened window. The breeze was lovely. Service was fast... More

Nothing terribly wrong about this place, but nothing to write home about either. It's a run-of-the-mill anything that fits on the menu we can prepare type of place. They had beef or salmon tartare, a variety of pasta dishes, a chicken section, a selection of hot sandwiches, etc....I just tend to prefer the places with limited menus that kinda keeps... More

We dicided to give this place a try, even though the menu was very expansive. We found that many other places in town were too pricy with menus that, well frankly, tried too hard to compete with the restaurants at the Fairmont Hotel. Anyhow, the atmosphere and location are great. We ordered the General Tao chicken, the Thai Chicken Salad... More

We stopped here for dinner to escape the high prices at the Fairmont, and we loved our meal. Excellent quality and ample portions. The view at sundown is lovely, and our server was a delight. Highly recommended.

We used TA to search for good places to eat in La Malbaie. We were not disappointed - a great meal, reasonable price, and helpful and friendly staff. I recommend.

We picked this restaurant as it was in walking distance down the hill from the Fairmont Richelieu. We arrived when only the bar was open at the time and were told that the restaurant was fully booked for the evening, but they would fit us in for dinner. They were very accommodating throughout, service and food were excellent. We are... More
