Accommodated gluten free needs. They made us a special dinner. Guacamole was delicious. Mario offered to make coffee next morning for us on our way. Very friendly staff. Loved it. Good food as well.

Had a great time wondering the inside of this restaurant. The food was great and overall is a perfect place to visit if possible.

Absolutely hands down one of my favorite restaurants in Baja! And that considering I'm a Baja Tour operator who gets to enjoy LOTS of Baja restaurants! Family run - and family served! Building was built by Mario and Sara and the family continues it's tradition in Guerrero Negro. Mario is not only the owner, but also the Head Chef in... More

We were told by fellow travelers that we must stop at Mario's for dinner and for their RV site. We did just that and were not disappointed. The owners were very engaging, funny, helpful, friendly and the food was really good. I'd eat here every time I was in the area.

Beautiful old palapa has been rebuilt, but the warm and friendly service remains as always. An excellent value and huevos rancheros were available on request as a vegetarian selection for an early supper. All served beautifully, even the simple quesadillas plate was presented as a lovely feast.

Mario's restaurant is a large palapa style building on the west side of Highway 1 just south of the military base, south of the Baja - Baja Sur state line. We stopped for breakfast on the recommendation of friends and thoroughly enjoyed everything. Our egg dishes were cooked perfectly, and the accompanying side dishes (beans, nopales) were tasty. With fresh... More

We tried 3 restaurants in Guerrero Negro and this one was the best by far. We had a seafood combination and everyone enjoyed it. Excellent service too.

My husband ordered their lobster and it was cooked to perfection as well as being presented in an appetizing fashion. My son and I both ordered. Fish. All of us received very generous portions and the food was delicious. The service was excellent and despite our lack of Spanish we were able to communicate easily with the staff, in addition... I love the restaurant and stop going both ways when I;m doing the Baja. The callos de Leon are to die for and all the shells cover the ground in the rv park. They always have a homemade soup to go with the dinner. Great margaritas too. ot showers after a long day of driving.
