Roberto's is a popular restaurant with visitors as well as American, Canadian, and European locals. It is easy to understand why. Each of the three times I have been the owner has come to the table to welcome all. Best to have a reservation. Be patient as it might take a while for your meal to be served... so remember... More

We decided to try the Chinese food offered only on Sunday evenings. It was served hot and looked really good but we didn't care for the flavours so would not do this again. But the restaurant was very spacious with lots of seating. The atmosphere was really good. The waiter was excellent. I would love to try this place again,... More

The restaurant has various areas in which to eat. Roberto is a great host and is always friendly as are the members of the staff. The food is good. Enjoy the carrot fritters that are served as soon as you arrive. The menu has a variety of dishes which you can choose from. The liver and onions is one of... More

We remembered Roberto's from around 2006 when he was on the Lake, highlight of our Ajijic experience , beautiful restaurant and wonderful food. 2016 a redux...new location but still great food and desire to please. Music with Sunday brunch, excellent French toast and eggs benedict. We enjoy this restaurant tremendously and love to bring friends.

Whenever we return to Lake Chapala, the first place we head out for good eats is Roberto's! The menu is always fresh and inviting as is the atmosphere in a choice of comfortable and charming al fresco settings (and inside when it's colder). Friendly, gracious waiters, always on-hand to answer menu questions and provide attentive service. Not to mention the... More

This is one of our top two places for Sunday brunch. We arrived today after having not been here in about a month and were surprised with a new brunch menu. We were completely pleased. Roberto's is a great deal for brunch. For under 100 pesos you get coffee, a fruit salad, a main course and dessert. We ordered the... More

We tend to eat here regularly. One can expect a consistent quality output from the kitchen which can sometimes be unusual here in Mexico. My partner ands I had Curry and Crab Cakes from the lunch menu and both were excellent. With a couple of wines and beers the bill was less than 300 pesos. BTW The Friday dinner ,menu... More

Roberto's is one of my all time favorite restaurants. Stopped in today for lunch as my usual Thursday afternoon plans got changed. I do love the lunch menu. Always something for everyone. And today I hit the jackpot by ordering Moroccan Chicken pasta. It was a large lunch for me (so leftovers for later) and ABSOLUTELY delicious. All fresh vegetables... More

We had not been back Lakeside for a year and a half. We arrived Saturday evening and after church on Sunday headed straight to Roberto's for brunch. We had been thinking about Roberto's brunch and it did not disappoint! We started with coffee (not as strong as my husband prefers) and tea, which I enjoyed. The friendly waiter brought a... More

The 4 of us were seated in the lovely patio while listening to a delightful musician. We were served a complimentary appetizer, bread and Caesar salad. BUT, our waiter took our order and disappeared, returning only when we complained to the management. The food was very good, but the lack of even mediocre service means that we will never return.
