I loved my chicken baguette sandwich with a side salad. Burger was a little undercooked but still good. Wonderful family-run restaurant with very friendly people. Clean bathroom. A popular lunch place for expats with a small patio in the back and tables inside.

Went for breakfast a couple of days ago. Coffee was good, however, breakfast was not. My husband order waffles, expecting homemade. What he got appeared to be Eggo toaster waffles. I order bacon and eggs with toast. Ordered the eggs once over easy... they were cooked hard. The toast was so hard I could barely take a bite. After seeing... More

This restaurant has the most amazing spinach salad I have ever tasted. So fresh and a lovely presentation. The carrot ginger soup is not to be missed. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Outdoor seating in a nice courtyard setting. I believe only 5 tables out there.

Best burger I've had in Mexico, lots of beef, great bun. The special was large and flavourful. Breakfast was delicious and filling also. Definately one of the best places in Ajijic to eat.

I have lived here for more than a few months and I am embarrassed to say that I have not experienced lunch at Richie 88 until today. The hamburger was out of this world, the carrot and ginger soup was excellent and the blue cheese salad was very very good. I will be returning soon for breakfast .

Our go to place for breakfast or lunch. Family owned and operated. Plenty of items on the menu for all tastes. Molletes with cinnamon and sugar are a treat. Service is a little slow because everything is made fresh.

We enjoy Ritchie 88 in Ajijic for so very many reasons. The food is fresh and delicious, the service is a little slow but very personal and who's in a hurry anyway. While waiting you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings outside in the garden, relax with a beverage of your choice and just enjoy the beautiful weather, the lovely people... More

I have eaten here three times and each time I have enjoyed it very much. The ingredients are always fresh. The carrot and ginger soup is silky smooth and good zing of ginger. I had the spinach salad - generous portion and nice reduction of balsamic vinegar dressing. Friends has the sandwiches and found them to be tasty and fresh.... More

I have popped into this place for breakfast at least 4 times. It's not bad, but nothing to write home about, either. Asked for salsa picante a coupe times and never got it. The portions are somewhat small. In my opinion, there are definitely better paces to go nearby. Can't speak for their lunch entrees... Owner is super friendly when... More

We enjoyed a relaxing lunch at this place... in the rear courtyard. Loved the soup, salad & fajitas. Only a couple tables were occupied, so we ended up chatting with the very sweet Mexican owners. We would definitely recommend a visit here.
