A little pricey for Lakeside but well worth it! Great service, really excellent menu selections and the only place I've found in the area that can make a really good dry gin martini.

We couldn't wait to try the new St. Remy du Lac. The setting is beautiful, romantic, quiet and pleasing. Service was attentive and the restaurant was full on this Saturday evening... obviously a reflection of the fairly picky Ajijic community who are gravitating to this hard to find restaurant. Without describing each dish, our overall rating for food was average... More

Loved this restaurant before the move, fine dining. Now it is more than hard to find, but when you do it has parking and lovely grounds. Totally open air so with the chillier weather of late not the greatest and in rainy season may prove an issue. Despite all that we forged ahead looking for a fine dining experience. The... More

We're delighted to have this restaurant back in the village after a lengthy absence, and their new location in a beautiful estate provides a quiet and peaceful setting. We especially enjoy getting a group of friends together for a leisurely lunch or Sunday brunch...no rush, just good food and conversation. The lunch menu is really well priced as is the... More

Have been there three times since the relaunching of this wonderful restaurant. The venue is new, spacious, with beautiful grounds. The usual well-trained staff is there, and the quality of the food is remarkable. I had duck crepes the first time, duck breast with green peppercorn the second time, and escargot and champagne the third time. The restaurant is apparently... More

St. Remy has moved to Callejon San Pedro #10. The restaurant is located in a beautiful estate in Ajijic. Unless one is familiar with Ajijic it is very difficult to locate. The restaurant is a covered terrace with two levels. The one level for dining is lovely with arches and the step down level is also for dining and includes... More

For a special occasion, or to simply treat yourself & your partner, this restaurant (currently located in a small hillside B&B) is for you. We've been for their Sunda brunch as well as for dinner. Excellent food & service. A bit pricey for Ajijic, but worth every peso. Reservations necessary, as it it is a small restaurant. Dine on the... More

Several friends went out for brunch the service was lacking eight people received there meal and were finished by the time two of our party received theirs. It is very over priced for what you receive. With a tip $550 pesos seems rather extravagant.

We spent an evening here and got to watch a beautiful sunset over Lake Chapala. The food was exceptional and the owner himself came to the table and talked with us for quite a while. We learned lots of the area secrets and enjoyed our evening immensely. Would recommend this restaurant!

We came to see what it was like in order to book our Anniversary Dinner later this month and decided to stay for lunch. It was magnificent. Genuine French Cuisine from the wonderful stuffed crepe to the Salmon and Creme Brûlé. Never tasted any better. The service was warm and friendly yet elegant from the the warm facecloth to freshen...
