We almost always defaulted to Lupitas because we always loved what we had there. Also satisfied my occasional burger craving. Staff seemed to remember what we liked prior to ordering. Loved eating there.

The locals will all direct you to Lupitas. It's Mexican with a slant toward Gringos. Good margaritas, fine food. It's a local favorite for sure. We'll go back.

Wonderful food ambiance and service. Especially enjoyed the trout which is served with lovely different sauces. Expat ladies lunch there on a weekly basis. There's an English language lending library upstairs Highly recommend trying it. Have a margarita!!

This is probably the best restaurant in town! The food is amazing and there is enough variety that I was able to choose something different every time. The Arancharra Steak was delicious and the best Guacamole. The restaurant serves Italian style pasta as well!

Have better Mexican food in Los Angeles, Every thing is very plain, they don't even have any hot sauce of any chile... If you hate hot food, this is your place.

The food is a very special component in a restaurant experience, but poor customer service cannot overcome the best food. (food was only average at best). We ordered drinks and my wife needed a straw we asked our waiter, after awhile we asked again, we were seating in front of the bar, for some reason he walked towards the back... More

We enjoyed each and every dish we ordered. The venue is very pleasant and nicely decorated with local art. The house itself is fabulous and the prices were definitely reasonable. The service was a bit annoying and that is the only reason I did not give them 5 stars. Good internet connection

My husband and I had dinner here three times. We had coconut shrimp, marinated steak, fish tacos (My husband did not like that they were breaded.), and rib eye steak. Overall the food was very tasty and the atmosphere is lovely--especially enjoyed the warmth of the wood fireplace. I read another review that mentioned upsells. That happened to us--the waiter... The food here was great. Especially the Sopa Tarasca - I tried several versions over the course of a 2.5 week trip and this was definitely the best. Atmosphere was great too. I would have given it a 5 star rating, but I can't stand upsells. For some reason when the waiter asked if we wanted guacamole, I said sure.... More

The Manager especially was surly and when asked a question was not interested in answering. He was glued to his laptop. The food was passable.
