The Manager especially was surly and when asked a question was not interested in answering. He was glued to his laptop. The food was passable.

Food was good, ordered pollo mixiote, tacos Lupita and soup. Service was slow and unatentive, no napkins on table asked a waiter, never brought any, asked for a straw, I noticed he put the straw in the drink while holding it from tip without any wrapper, My wife noticed it was wet inside getting the impresion it was used. We... More

Authentic Michoacan dishes in a patio atmosphere. Try the Churipo, a caldo P'urhépecha, excellent soup, it's like a meat stew with veggies, a bit spicy. Loved it! Also the Lupita tacos!

And a longtime favorite! Between lunch and dinner, we have always found the menu to be well thought out and consistently prepared. Feel is important to us and Lupita's definitely qualifies. We had breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner at various times on this trip and were very satisfied.

All the dishes we tried were very good. Reliable Mexican kitchen and friendly service. Would eat here again.

A group of freinds and I went to dinner at Lupitas, and when we asked for the bill we were told we had to pay cash, NO credit cards that night . I told them I did not have enough cash, they told me to go to a bank ATM. Food ok service ok, will not return. Was very sad,... More

We loved this little place just off the main plaza. The service was great and the food delicious. When you are done walk around and find even more things to buy

In late August our group of four ate at Lupita two nights in a row. One friend had fish tacos both nights and declared them the best she had ever had. Two had the Trout with Dill Sauce and liked it. I had the Trout with Macadamia Sauce. I envisioned a sauce with chunks of nuts, but the "sauce" was... More

I go to Lupitas about once a week. I always have my favorite Baja Fish Tacos. I know that sounds weird here in the Central Highlands of Patzcuaro, Mexico but I just love those tacos. I always order extra tortillas because there is so much taco. I have had the Arrachera which is fabulous and the Margaritas are great. The... More

My wife and I ate at Lupita on a sunny Sunday and perfect weather. We had heard good things about Lupita and were not disappointed. Set into a lovely house with patios and comfortable seating, the ambiance was just as we like it: not too fancy but artfully designed. Despite the restaurant being filled, service was prompt and attentive. The... More
